Urban camouflage is one the most controversial topics in camouflage design. Do they make any real sense? While urban landscapes can be colorful, urban patterns used to come in black, gray and white palettes until recently (check PenCott Metropolis and A-TACS Ghost). So it took my attention when I found a rare Polish Flecktarn variant called “Metro”.
You can find a interesting range of urban camo patterns in Jonathan Prusse’s blog Prepare and Protect. I hope to find time to write an essay on the advantages and disadvantages of the urban camouflage pattern concept.
